Our Stryker Martial Arts Academy school might seem like just another place to get fit and learn self-defense.

It’s true, we do help people with that, but there are some “hidden” things that our students experience when they take our martial arts classes.

Have you been wishing to learn Martial Arts, Taekwondo or Karate? Join our Bristol Adult Martial Arts Classes: a unique combination of modern-style self-defense mixed with traditional training. Our Bristol Kids Martial Arts classes are not only geared towards excellent self-defense techniques, striking, and kicking - children ages 3 and up are taught self-discipline, focus, and respect. Are you looking for special classes where you can learn powerful submission and grappling techniques? You've found them. Plus: We'll get you into great shape! Our Bristol Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) class is what you could be missing...truly friendly, action packed and suitable for all levels.

Our instructors are friendly and passionate and they will help you to tone your body fast. You will learn great Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques so you can handle yourself at standing up position or even if you're on your back.

Our Bristol Krav Maga classes are developed from the mid-1930s Jewish / Israeli history. In those years, anti-Semitic thugs dominated Bratislava and terrorized Jewish citizens. But a man named Imi Sde-Or, also Jewish, became their champion by defending them on the streets.

Imi Sde-Or, in his many street fights, realized that boxing and wrestling had no place in the "real world". He was an Olympic contender in both, so no one knew boxing and wrestling better than he did. He took his experience on the street, combined it with what he already knew, and developed Krav Maga; a unique type of self-defense that utilizes natural instincts for self-protection.
